EMERGENCY WATER and SEWER ISSUES
If you suspect, see, or experience a sanitary sewer back-up, possible sewage leak, water main break, rusty water, plugged storm drain, basement flooding or unusually low or no water pressure, please contact us by phone.

Water & Sewer bills are mailed out the first week of every even month.
Automatic payments can be made from a checking or savings account or Debit/Credit Card. Debit and Credit card automatic payments are subject to a $2.00 service fee. Electronic check payments are subject to a $3.00 service fee. Sign up for recurring automatic payments. Paperless billing statements are also encouraged.
Bills are calculated using two factors:
- Readiness to Serve - This covers the costs of maintenance, repair, and replacement of the systems. It is always charged.
- Sewer Readiness to Serve charge is $22.05 per month.
- Water Readiness to Serve charge is $21.00 per month.
- Usage Charges - The rate is $4.20/1,000 gallons and cover the costs of purchasing the water and treating the sewer.
Missing, lost, or undelivered bills do not exempt you from payment. Watch for your bill every even month and call us if you do not receive a bill or check your balance here.
The following steps are taken once the water account becomes past due. A past due notice will be sent out reminding you to make your payment. Five days later a pink door hanger will be posted giving you approximately 5 more days to pay in full before water service will be shut off. The utility account must be paid in full by 5:00 p.m. of the date shown on the door hanger or water service will be shut off and a $40.00 fee will be assessed to the utility account. The account must be paid in full before water service is turned back on.
We do not take payments over the phone. Please make sure to allow enough time for your online payment to reach our office, especially if it is due the next day.
MOVING and METER READINGS
If you are moving into a home with water or sewer services please complete this form to set up your new account.
Please contact our office if you are moving out of your home to schedule a final water reading for your account and switch the services to the new owner.

UNEXPECTED EXPENSIVE WATER BILL
Dripping faucets or running toilets are the primary cause of unexpected high water usage. Underground sprinkling systems that have not been properly winterized may also cause high usage.
